Homless Search By Laws

(A nonprofit corporation organized and existing under the laws of the State of Delaware)

Article I Name

The name of the organization shall be HOMELESS SEARCH CORPORATION and shall be referred to in these Bylaws as HSC.

Article II Purpose

The purpose of HSC is as follows:

Section 1.

1. To promote the general welfare of the rejected and forgotten homeless.

2. To provide a physical shelter for the HSC guest, includong temporary housing, clothing, and food for the homeless and provisions for hygiene needs.

3. To assist shelter residents to avoid homelessness in the future. Activities which serve this purpose include, but are not limited to the following:

a. Helping residents obtain meaningful employment.
b. Helping with transportation to apply for jobs and other activities.
c. Advising and assisting in managing personal income and expenditures.

4. To solicit, obtain and manage funds and property necessary to facilitate the programs of HSC and to administer and comply with agreements specific to individual donations and to such agreements that are within the scope and purpose of HSC.

5. To communicate with governing bodies of other organizations and the public at large in promoting the general welfare of the forgotten and rejected homeless.

6. To organize a search team to identify individuals that are not being provided for or have been refused the services of existing homeless shelters.

7. In all search vehicles and shelters owned by HSC, there will be Christian radio broadcasting tuned in and playing in vehicles and over intercom system at shelters at all times. The objective is to reverse society's trend at medicalizing behavioral problems, character flaws, moral failings, weakness of will and defining them as addictions akin to physical disabilities.

Article III Members

Membership will consist of regular voting members and honorary non-voting members. Regular membership will be granted or revoked by vote of the Board of Directors. Honorary membership can be granted or revoked by any board member. Membership is open to all persons without regard to race, sex, nationality, etc. Members must display and profess a high compassion for the homeless, and be civic minded.
